Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Monday 11 April 2022: Indian equity markets snapped their 3-day losing streak on Friday, as investors bet on beaten-down stocks after RBI in its monetary policy announced it would continue with its accommodative stance. The positive global cues also supported the domestic markets to trade higher on Friday.

The broader markets also performed in line with their larger peers on the last day of the week. Sectorwise barring IT all other major sectors closed in the green led by Metals, FMCG, Energy, and Infra. The market breadth was quite strong with the advance decline indicating a ratio of 2:1 at the close. FIIs and DIIs both were sellers in the cash segment on Friday. FIIs sold Rs 575.04 crore while DIIs sold Rs 16.51 crores in the cash segment.

Nifty and Nifty Bank futures price movement on Friday, 8 April ( April Expiry)

 

On Friday, 8 April, the Nifty futures ( April Series) opened at 17745 levels, it made a positive opening of 14.65 points. It has touched an intraday high at 17944.80 and a day’s low at 17656.30

The Nifty future has given a movement of 288.5 points on Friday. In the end, it gained 164.60 points or 0.93 percent and ended at 17894.95 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures (April Series) opened at 37731 levels on the last day of the week. It made a negative opening of 33.1 points on Friday. It has touched an intraday high at 38089.50 and a day’s low at 37566.65

On Friday, the Bank Nifty future gave a movement of 522.85 points. In the end, it gained 277.90 points or 0.74 percent and closed at 38042 levels.

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 17836 and is sustained. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 17795 during the day with a Stop Loss of 17865. FOR the Target of  17795- 17765- 17742- 17715

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 38209 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 38330 during the day with a Stop Loss of  38085. FOR the Target of 38330 – 38435- 38540- 38665

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 37900 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 37815 during the day with a Stop Loss of 38040. FOR the Target of  37815 – 37725- 37580- 37425

Global stock market updates

 

European markets advanced on Friday and erased most of their weekly losses while investors were focused on the French Presidential elections. All major sectors closed in positive territory led by financial and commodity stocks. European markets gained on Friday, as traders shrugged off the negative news about additional sanctions on Russia as well as the potential aggressive interest rate hikes from the US Fed.

The US market indexes closed mixed after a choppy session on Friday. Dow Jones closed higher whereas S&P 500 and Nasdaq were down on the last day of the week, as markets weigh Fed’s aggressive interest rate hikes. Investors bet on the beaten-down bank shares while buying was also seen in Oil & Gas, and Telecom space. The Technology, Industrials, and Consumers Goods sectors were closed lower in the US markets on Friday.

 

Conclusions

 

Friday’s gain helped the domestic markets to erase all weekly losses and close higher. Indian stock markets are likely to trade in a range-bound in the coming week. The market focus will now shift to quarterly earnings from the next week, initiated by the IT and banking space.
