Market Live: Nifty and Bank Nifty futures for 23rd June

Market Live: Nifty above 10400 levels and Bank Nifty trading 1% higher

 

Market Live for 23rd June: Nifty & Bank Nifty futures at 1 pm: Indian markets extended their morning gains. Nifty and Bank Nifty futures are trading more than 1% higher at this time. Nifty future has touched 10408.45  and Bank Nifty futures touched 21990 as high so far.

The top gaining stock at this hour are Larsen & Toubro, UPL, and IndusInd Bank and the losing stocks are Reliance, HDFC Bank, and Bharti Airtel. 

Bajaj Finance, Reliance, and IndusInd Bank are trading as the most active stock.

Except for Oil & Gas and Manufacturing, almost all major sectors are trading in the green. Insurance, Power, and Infrastructure are trading 2-3% higher at this time.

Asian and European markets are trading in the green. The positive global cues can close Nifty and Bank Nifty higher today.

The Market Live 23rd June- Nifty and Bank Nifty at 10.30:

 

Indian stock market opened in positive territory as indicated by the SGX Nifty in the morning. The Nifty futures opened at 10328.05, it made a gap up of 39.85 points. The Bank Nifty futures opened at 21779.25, it was up by 82.25 points.

The global rating agency Moody’s on 22nd June said that India’s GDP to contract to 3.1% in 2020 and would grow 6.9% in 2021.

The Nifty and Bank Nifty futures are trading flat to positive. Nifty futures up by 0.50% while Bank Nifty futures are trading 0.80% higher at this time.

The top gaining stocks in the Nifty50 index are  IndusInd Bank, NTPC, and UPL. The losing stocks at this moment are Tata Motors, Reliance, and TCS.

On the sectoral front, FMCG, Power, and Banking & Finance are trading positively whereas Oil&Gas, Manufacturing, and IT & Software are trading in the red at this time.

Good Morning and Welcome to Market Live – Nifty and Bank Nifty

 

Market Live- Nifty and Bank Nifty for 23rd June at 8 am- Yesterday, Nifty closed at 10311.20 was up by 0.65% and Bank Nifty gained 1.74% and closed at 21708.35. Indian markets ignored global as well as domestic negative cues and continued its journey towards the north. FIIs were the buyers yesterday and DIIs were sellers in the cash segment. FIIs bought Rs 424.21 crores and DIIs sold Rs1287.69 crores in the cash segment.

On the global front, yesterday the US markets closed in the positive. Dow was up by 0.59% while Nasdaq closed 1.11% higher. European markets were closed almost 0.50% lower yesterday. 

Today, Asian markets are trading mixed. SGX Nifty is trading 39 points up, Nikkei, Taiwan, and Hang Seng are also trading higher. Strait Times and Shanghai are trading lower at this time. Indian markets may open in a positive note today as per global cues.

The Q4 results for today are – Asian Paints, Bank Of Baroda, Berger Paints, Page Industries, Union Bank of India along a few mid and smallcap companies will announce their Q4 results.
