Nifty & Bank Nifty prediction for tomorrow 27 April: Indian stock market made a positive start on Monday tracking the Asian market peers. Markets extended their opening gains and traded above their neutral lines throughout the day on the back of buying in Banking, Energy, Metals, and Realty stocks. In the end, the market trimmed some intraday gains and closed higher today.

Investors reacted to ICICI Bank’s positive earnings today and the US announcement that it would remove the bottlenecks in the export of raw materials essential for the production of vaccines in India. Some support also came after Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s statement that the pandemic has caused a slowdown in India but the country’s inherent resilience and capability will help it transform into a new India with a faster growth path fuelled by infrastructure.

Meanwhile, India reported 354531 fresh coronavirus cases on Sunday. Maharashtra is the worst affected state reported more than 67,000 on Sunday followed by Kerela, Karnataka, UP, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi.

 

Today’s market updates: Sensex, Nifty, and Bank Nifty on the spot price

 

At the close, Nifty gained 143.65 points or 1.01 percent and closed at 14485 levels while Sensex climbed 508.06  points or 1.07 percent and finished at 48386.51 levels. The Bank Nifty on the spot price was up by 552.85 points or 1.75 percent and ended at 32275.15 levels. 

Buying witnessed in the broad-based index as Nifty midcap and smallcap index closed higher today. The Nifty midcap index gained 182.35 points or 0.78 percent and closed at 23675.10 levels. The Nifty smallcap index also jumped today by 93.40 points or 1.13 percent and closed at 8343.95 levels.

The top five gainers in the Nifty50 index were Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Untratech Cement, JSW Steel, and Grasim. The top five losers in the Nifty50 index for the day were Cipla, Britannia, HCL Tech, BPCL, and HDFC Bank. The most active stocks in the Nifty50 index were ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Tata Steel.

On a sectoral basis, barring healthcare, all other major sectors closed in the green today. The sectors that helped the markets to trade higher today are Metals, Banking, Insurance, Oil & Gas, and Real Estate

Nifty and Bank Nifty futures price movement today, 26 April 2021

 

The Nifty futures price opened at 14442.35 made a positive opening of 103.75 points. It has touched an intraday high at 14552.45 and a day’s low at 14423.40

The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 129.05 points today. In the end, it gained 148.6 points or 1.04 percent and ended at 14487.20 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures price opened at 32221.20 It made a gap-up opening of 511.6 points today. It has touched an intraday high at 32624.95 and a day’s low at 32150.55

During the day, the Bank Nifty futures price has given a movement of 474.4 points. In the end, it closed higher by 585.3 points or 1.85 percent and closed at 32294.90 levels.

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 14522 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 14551 during the day with a Stop Loss of 14440  FOR the Target of 14551-14584- 14614

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 14440 and sustain. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 14390 during the day with a Stop Loss of 14522. FOR the Target of 14390- 14360 -14295

Primary Trend of  Bank Nifty Futures: Positive

 

Range-Bound Trend of Bank Nifty Future: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 32700, whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short  Covering (Buy) @ 32050

Suppose Bank nifty share price in futures Moves Above 32460 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 32565 during the day with a Stop Loss of  32160. FOR the Target of 32565 – 32697 – 32830

If Bank nifty share price in the futures Moves Below 32160 and sustained, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 32030 during the day with a Stop Loss of 32460. FOR the Target of 32030 – 31930 – 31660

 

Global markets today 

 

Asian markets closed mixed on Monday as investors are worried about the rising coronavirus cases in the region especially in India and Japan. Investors also remain cautious ahead of the FOMC and BOJ meeting decision expected later this week. European markets are trading marginally lower due to the concern about growing infection in Asian countries and its impact on global economic growth. The US futures market indexes Dow futures trading flat while Nasdaq futures trading lower at 4.30 pm IST.

 

Conclusions

 

Indian markets made a strong opening today due to positive global cues and strong corporate earnings. Traders are concern about the second wave of coronavirus and so the profit booking witnessed at higher levels. Nifty touched 14550 levels but closed below 14500 levels. Markets may remain volatile this week due to monthly F&O expiry, corporate earnings of 12 Nifty50 companies, and FOMC meeting outcome.
