Market live 27 Nov- Indian stock market may see a flat opening today

 

Good morning and welcome to the stock market live updates today, for 27 Nov at 8 am IST

Asian markets are mostly trading in the red today. Shanghai is trading higher by 0.21%  whereas Hang Seng and Nikkei are trading lower by 0.27% and 0.07% respectively. SGX Nifty is trading 11 points higher at this moment. As per indication getting from the SGX Nifty Indian stock market may see a flat opening today.

The US markets were closed on Thursday to observe Thanksgiving day.

European markets closed flat to negative on Thursday as the second wave of coronavirus infection prompting for tough restriction in Germany, France, and the UK. Investors are worried about its economic impact if tough lockdown measures are imposed again. The European indices FTSE closed lower by 0.44% whereas CAC and DAX closed flat to negative.

Indian markets bounced back after Wednesday’s fall. The Sensex and Nifty closed higher by 0.98% and 1% respectively on Thursday. FIIs were are the buyers and DIIs were the sellers in the cash market segment. FIIs bought Rs 2027.31 crore while DIIs sold Rs 3400.10 crore on 26 November.

 

 

News that may influence the Indian stock market live today

The GDP numbers for the second quarter of FY21 will be announced today after the market by the National Statistical Office. After the historic fall of GDP 23.9% in the first quarter (April-June), market experts feel that the GDP number will be announced in contraction but will have QoQ improvement.

China’s industrial profit rose by 28.2% on a YoY basis in October to 642.91 billion yuan ($97.79 billion) as per the official data released on Friday. Profit rose for the six consecutive months in October. A steady recovery was seen in the manufacturing sector after it was hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
