Market Updates

Nifty50 Above 20100, Sensex up 87 pts in Volatile Session, Realty & Pharma Lead

Sensex and Nifty50 Today, 30 November 2023: Indian stock market indexes ended with minor gains on Thursday amid mixed global cues. The domestic markets opened slightly higher and immediately slipped into the red and traded below their flat lines. The indexes traded volatile due to the monthly F&O expiry and ended slightly higher.

Investors remained cautious ahead of the domestic Q2 GDP number and key inflation data from the U.S. for more clarity about the outlook for interest rates.

The street paid no heed to a private report stating that the Indian economy is likely to continue its strong growth in the quarter to the end of September, helped by solid urban consumption and government spending, outpacing a slowing global economy squeezed by elevated interest rates and higher energy prices.
