Bond Yields

Bond yields sank as prices rose. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield fell to 3.811% from 4.149% late Wednesday.

European markets closed higher after the US inflation data FTSE was up 1.08% while CAC and DAX were up by 1.96% and 3.51% respectively.

A larger-than-expected drop in consumer inflation last month will likely prompt the Federal Reserve to pare down future interest rate increases
